Jezreel Valley Winery | HaKerem: Israeli Wine

I first wrote about Jezreel Valley Winery, one of Israel’s newest wineries founded by high-tech entrepreneur Jacob Ner-David & Yehuda Nahar with Californian Ari Erle as the winemaker.

Since writing the article I got my hands on several bottles of the wines at innovine – an event hosted at Google Israel focusing on wine and technology.

While at innovine I had the opportunity to taste their Chardonnay, Redblend (a mix of Argaman, Carignon, and Syrah), and Rose. All I can say is “WOW!”

I can’t put my finger exactly on what made their wine amazing and uniquely refreshing but it tasted very different from other wine. Really refreshing, I particularly enjoyed their Redblend. It is a uniquely Israeli fusion of Carignon, Argaman and Syrah that was truly complex, deep, but refreshing.

If you are in Israel or the United States, you can directly order bottles of Jezreel Valley wine online at http://jezreelwinery.com/shop/
